Preparing for the Season around the Network |

 Everywhere we look we see signs of the approaching holidays as downtowns string up lights, stores stock up on Christmas sweaters, and retailers of all types bombard us with flashy sale advertisements. But in the churches of the Best Practices for Ministry Network, the signs of the season take on a different look. Many of our churches spent the last days of November inviting church members to slow down a little and spend time preparing their hearts for the season of Advent.

FBC Columbus Shares Missional Stories at Advent |
We all have a story to tell. Some are funny, some are thought provoking, many are inspirational. First Baptist Church  Columbus is inviting their church members to tell their missional stories during the season of Advent.
The congregation of FBC Columbus is a mission-minded group. As a church, they sponsor several mission trips each year, sometimes working within the United States and sometimes traveling internationally. But, the church isn’t just looking for stories about mission trips; they are calling for stories about all types of missional activities. From prison ministry to home building, this church family values missions. They live out their faith daily by actively serving in the Columbus community and beyond.
